Anchor 101:  Anchoring Principles and Design 

This program will provide an introductory overview of the adhesive and mechanical anchor market.

The following topics will be covered:

• Fundamental principles of anchor theory, including applications and design basis

• Influencing factors on anchor design and load performance

• Building code requirements as they pertain to anchors (ACI, IBC, ICC, etc.)

• Various types of anchors, including product specifications, and selection criteria

• Design resources for mechanical and adhesive anchors

After the presentation, the attendees will have an opportunity to get their hands on several of our tools, anchors, and fasteners
